 This was the perfect cabin in the woods. It was perfect for unplugging and spending time with family. The setting is idyllic....tall trees and interesting paths to walk. I only wish that I could have experienced it during a winter snow....or spring when everything is coming to life, or summer when swimming and water fun was available or fall when all of the trees would be in full color. I can imagine, if you are into nature...this would be the perfect ' unplugged" property for any time of the year. Oh, btw, I read all of the previous reviews before we arrived. I read about scratched Teflon (brought my own cookware), charcoal grill (brought charcoal), and a few other things...I have to tell you that anything negative mentioned in the review was corrected when we stayed there. The cookware appeared brand new, the grill is gas. I didn't just check 5 stars without thought, this was a 5 star rental. 

 We had an amazing time on our weekend retreat to Berkeley Springs. We loved how unique the cabin's layout is and everyone had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The grill and hot tub were great bonuses. 

 Beautiful cabin! Worth the price, we enjoyed our stay. Would book here again! 

 We had a great time. The directions to the place were thorough and we had everything we needed. 

It was a great place to stay we will be back.

 Loved this house! My seven-year-old described it as a "rocket ship" because it is tall and narrow--each room has it's own floor, and the floors are split level; it's hard to explain or to get a feel for it from the pictures, but the layout of the house is creative and fun, especially for our kids, who delighted in climbing the various half-flights of stairs and exploring all the nooks and crannies. The kitchen is especially atmospheric with huge windows that make the forest seem almost part of the house. We spent most of our time in the house gathered around the table, playing games, eating and chatting. Such a unique and fun place.
